Built Through Hard Work: Jake Dykes Promoted to Foreman

We are pleased to announce the promotion of James “Jake” Dykes to Asphalt Plant Foreman at the McComb Plant. This well-earned promotion reflects Jake’s growth within the operation and the trust he has earned through his dedication to the plant, his teammates and the work he does each day.

Since joining the McComb Plant, Jake has steadily taken on new responsibilities and established himself as a dependable member of the team. His strong work ethic, willingness to learn and commitment to supporting plant operations have made him a valuable contributor and positioned him well for this leadership opportunity.

Those who have worked alongside Jake have consistently recognized the qualities that have prepared him for this role. “Jake is a very dependable guy,” said Jamie Smith, Maintenance Superintendent. “The best trait Jake has is that he cares and doesn’t want to let his team down. I believe that he will do a great job in his new role as foreman, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him.”

Ryan Kennedy, Director of Asphalt Production, has also seen Jake’s dedication firsthand. “Jake is a truly driven individual,” Kennedy said. “He dives into projects [with determination and follows through until the work is complete]. He can always be counted on to get the job done. Overall, Jake has been a fantastic team player on the McComb plant crew.”

Jake’s impact on the McComb Plant has not gone unnoticed. Earlier this year, he was recognized as a Blueprint for Excellence honoree, reflecting the respect he has earned from teammates and leaders alike. His work speaks for itself, and this promotion represents the next step in a career built on dedication, accountability and a commitment to supporting those around him. As he steps into the foreman role, he brings the experience, work ethic and leadership qualities that have made him a trusted member of the team.

We look forward to seeing him continue to grow in this role and contribute to the ongoing success of the operation. Please join us in congratulating Jake on this well-deserved promotion and wishing him continued success in his new role!
